How to record part of your screen on Mac
Sometimes only one corner of the screen matters. With Recfly you drag out a region, see it outlined in red the whole time, and only that area ends up in the video.

Step by step

Choose “Region”
In the Recfly bar, select “Region”.

Drag the box
Draw the area to record. Made a mistake? The red ✕ goes back to full screen.

Record
The red outline shows what's recorded; it doesn't appear in the video.

Save
Stop, trim and save as MP4.
Questions
Can the region span two displays?
No. The region must be within a single display.
Does the red outline show up in the video?
No. It's only a guide for you; it isn't recorded.
